Organisme is set for release on October 9th, 2026, via Denmark’s leading outlet for forward thinking jazz April Records, ahead of an extensive European tour in early 2027.

Rather than documenting a single recording session, Organisme brings together seven performances recorded across three sessions at The Village, Medley Studios and Copenhagen’s Jazzhus Montmartre during the second half of 2025. Together, they trace the artistic development of Dayyani and his sextet during a period that saw the group expand from the Danish jazz scene onto international stages for the first time.

The album takes its title from the idea of an organism, exploring the interconnected relationships that shape people, communities and the wider world. Dayyani views the music itself as a living entity, with each composition contributing to a larger whole while retaining its own distinct character. Across the record, energetic ensemble writing sits alongside intimate ballads and expansive improvisation, reflecting the many different musical voices within the band.

Still in his mid-twenties, Dayyani has quickly established himself as one of Denmark’s finest emerging bandleaders, bringing his music to venues and festivals across Denmark and Europe since forming the sextet in 2022. The group embraces musical diversity as a defining principle, drawing together an eclectic array of influences into a contemporary sound built on collective interaction.

With Organisme, Antonio Dayyani continues to develop a musical language that values openness, collaboration and curiosity, presenting a record that reflects both the evolution of his sextet and the connections that bind its music together.
